Bam

Bam

Bam and his buddy, Louie, came to us in March 2017. When they arrived they were thin and had messy feet. We were pleased to realize that he is an easy keeper and has nice feet. He is ridden barefoot and does well. He is 16-2 hands and big bodied, born in 1997. He is a very nice horse to be around; quiet for the vet, hoof trims and everything else.
Our trainer thinks he has had good training in the past. Bam is responsive, transitions nicely and is quiet when asked to stop. He was first ridden here in October 2017 and he did not skip a beat after not being ridden for months or possibly years. He is truly a gentleman. Although he is big, he is also respectful and kind.  Update as of July 2018–Bam will now join our sanctuary horses through the support of a generous lifetime sponsor.

All of our animals are up-to-date on their health care and are microchipped.
