We need your help. Volunteers at Equine Aid make a difference in the lives of formerly slaughter-bound, neglected or unwanted horses. Our current volunteer needs are:

Cleaning stalls and paddocks, cleaning tack, grooming horses and help with events!  We appreciate your suggestions as well as your assistance. All volunteers are encouraged to get to know our horses. Our horses are trained and ridden using natural horsemanship techniques. If you are interested in volunteering as a trainer, extensive experience is required. Our horses are only ridden by our trainers.

Equine Aid is located in Monroe, WA. We ask that volunteers commit to a minimum of two hours each week on a regularly scheduled day. Rain or shine the horses need care. We depend on trained volunteers to be here as scheduled. If you can make that commitment, we would love to have you join the team. Additionally, we do encourage volunteer applicants who are interested in fulfilling school or community-service related volunteer hours.

The minimum age for volunteers is 16 years old. No horse experience is required. Your interest in equines and their care and your willingness to learn are what matter most. Questions? Please contact us at info@equineaid.org or by mail at Equine Aid, PO Box 123, Monroe, WA 98272-0123.
